Sydney Tools is one of Australia's largest power tool retailer with over 200 brands, including Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, Dewalt, Hitachi and many more.

Due to the rapid growth within our business, a rare opportunity has arisen for a motivated Solicitor to join our young and vibrant team located at Roselands.

About the Role

Reporting to the Directors, the role consists of:

• Monitoring and managing the administration of all hearing, inquiries and legal work being undertaken

• Conducting research efficiently and providing reliable and accurate advice

• Attending various courts for filing and lodgements

• Ensure compliance to all legislation, rules and policies through accurate research

• Sending correspondences to internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner

• Establishing priorities and meeting deadlines

• Provide legal  advise to the business on legislative changes 

The successful candidate will have:

• 1-3 years post admission experience

• Be admitted as solicitor and hold an unrestricted practising certificate 

• Experience gained in commercial matters especially commercial law and litigation processes

• An ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities and multiple issues

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Collaborative style and be skilled at building relationships and trust with key stakeholders
