Our client is a leading national top-tier law firm that houses some of Australia’s most successful lawyers.

Due to continued growth, the firms Melbourne office are currently in the market for an environment and planning lawyer at the 3-5 PAE mark. Working alongside a Partner that has been repeatedly recognised as a leading environment and planning lawyer, this is a fantastic opportunity to further your career within a varied and market leading practice.

You will working on behalf of both public and private sector clients, providing advice on a range of environment and planning matters. The type of work will include regulatory and planning matters, major infrastructure projects and environmental compliance. This role would see you working closely with other practice groups within the firm and in particular, the major projects team.

To be considered for this position you will have between 3 to 5 years PAE in the area of environment and planning together with;   

• Experience working in a mid or top tier firm or within an in house legal team
• Strong academic record
• Experience in Supreme/Federal Court litigation and Land court litigation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A true team player
