National firm seeking a strong insurance litigator with 1-3 years’ PAE to join a high performing global insurance practice!
Client Details
Our client is a leading Australian firm with a thriving litigation & insurance practice. Due to continued growth and an influx of new work, a new role has been created for an insurance lawyer to join their transport division acting for insurers in large aviation, marine & shipping related litigation.
Description
Working closely with the transport Partner, you will advise on a range of transport & trade insurance matters, acting on behalf of a variety of insurers in the aviation, marine & shipping space.
Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 1-3 years’ PAE from a well-regarded top/mid-tier insurance practice.
- Prior experience in either shipping, marine & aviation insurance.
- A driven and energetic litigator, with a defendant insurance background;
- Handling a busy caseload of files, initially under close supervision with a view to working autonomously as you develop into the role.
- Strong time management, drafting & prioritisation skills.
- Possess strong academics.
