The firm
This firm is a leading global practice that is being innovative in the way they provide suppport to their Lawyers. They are committed to developing and training their junior legal secretaries in order for them to progress in their career through the firm.
The role
You will be working closely with and being mentored by senior secretaries with many years experience in the industry. This will give you the opportunity to experience working within a variety of areas of law. You will be providing administrative support to them and the firms Lawyers. Some of these duties will include:
- Manging incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
- Photocopying, scanning, binding and preparing documents for delivery
- Filing - both hard copy and electronic
- Managing expense claims
- Archiving
- Assist with monthly billing
- Filing opening
- Making minor amendments to docvuments
- Assisting with coordinating events
- Coordinating travel bookings
Who are you?
You will be an enthusiastic and positive person who has a small amount of experience in a law firm or professional services environment. You great attitude towards doing the best job you can will shine through. You will have good microsoft office skills and the ability to communicate effectively and take direction from others. This role suits someone who is looking for a career in the support role in a professional environment.
