About the role
An opportunity exists with an expanding, newly established law firm in Albury for a junior solicitor working in a full-time role. The role can be tailored to part-time or casual if necessary. Albury is an expanding and thriving regional centre.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake the normal duties of a junior employee solicitor in a general legal practice, including meet with clients, prepare legal documents and appear at court. The position is largely autonomous and the successful applicant will need to be able to fully manage legal matters, with limited supervision by the firm's experienced principal solicitor.
Key Selection Criteria:
Applicants should be professional, self-motivated, have attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment and have good people skills. Applicants should also be admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor, and be eligible to immediately obtain a NSW practising certificate. The successful applicant will need to be able to quickly become competent in undertaking legal work in a range of legal areas, and to be able to generate legal work and promote the firm.
