About the role

We require a lawyer with some experience in construction law (or commercial litigation) to join our busy team.  The role is fast paced and you will be providing support to our senior lawyers including:

• providing dispute resolution advice including negotiation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution;
• assisting in adjudication applications and responses and court related applications
• preparing litigation documents, including documents for evidence, discovery and expert and barrister briefs
• assisting with business development and marketing initiatives including keeping up to date with recent court decisions.

Skills and experience

The successful applicant will:

• be driven, hardworking and a team player;
• have PQE 1+ years;
• have demonstrated experience working on a range of back end construction matters or commercial litigation
• demonstrate exceptional client liaison skills
• have excellent communication and drafting skills
