The role

We are looking for a 1-2 year corporate lawyer with relevant experience in corporate transactions gained in a leading law firm or a well-respected boutique.

This role will see you working directly with one of our Perth partners, advising Australian and international clients in a range of industry sectors. You will be involved in a range of mergers and acquisitions (both domestic and cross border), IPOs and other fundraisings, advising clients on Corporations Act and Listing Rule compliance, foreign investment, joint ventures, major projects and managed funds.

About you

You will be an energetic, team player who is keen to get involved in our exciting portfolio of growing work. You will work with a strong team of friendly and supportive lawyers, and will gain exposure to some cutting edge deals.

You will ideally have:

• have 1-2 years PQE ideally having worked in a corporate or strong commercial environment
• have some exposure to general corporate transactions/ advisory matters 
• have excellent attention to detail
• have superior drafting skills
• be able to demonstrate a strong grasp of general commercial legal principles
• develop client relationships with the support and guidance of partners
• have the ability to work well autonomously and in a team
• be self-motivated and enthusiastic
• contribute positively to team culture
