The Government Health Law Team

The busy Government Health Law team is currently seeking a 2-3 year plus solicitor with relevant experience in defendant medical negligence litigation.  Coronial experience an advantage.    

You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• At least 2-3 years post admission experience in dispute resolution, including experience in the areas outlined.
• Experience providing advice on liability, apportionment and quantum in civil claims against health agencies and/or individual health practitioners. 
• An ability to analyse complex medico-legal issues, assess risks and formulate legal solutions.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A demonstrated ability to manage a busy workload while providing exceptional client service.
• Accuracy and high attention to detail.
• A "can-do" attitude, a strong work ethic and an enthusiasm for participating in the culture of our firm.
