About the role
This newly created opportunity in our legal and governance team focuses on regulatory engagement. The team is responsible for Managing Notice responses and Requests for information from our regulators on behalf of AMP, this includes engaging the right stakeholders and ensuring compliance to process, policy & timelines in relation to relevant Notices.
Duties
- Assist with Regulatory Responses – ensuring quality of response in the required timeframes.
- Provide broad-based paralegal support when required, to help the broader Regulatory Response team achieve its business goals & strategic objectives.
- Administration support to enable on-time and quality output
Skills & experience
Ideally, we are looking for candidates who are:
- Currently in 3rd or 4th year law studies
- Proficient using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other IT applications with an aptitude to develop further computer skills as required
- Have knowledge of document management principles and practices
- Equipped with previous paralegal experience or working in Financial Services is a plus
- Project Management or Process Improvement skills are also a plus
