About the role and team
We have an opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our growing Property & Projects team in Melbourne working with a highly regarded partner.
The Property & Projects team has approximately 38 people including partners and employees. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with other partners and other team members in the Property & Projects team.
Duties
This position is responsible for:
- property due diligence;
- sales and acquisitions including all transaction documentation;
- commercial and retail leasing;
- development agreements and agreements for lease;
- development and project structuring;
- general property advice; and
- supervising and mentoring junior team members.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will have at least 5 + years post admission experience including substantial experience in property law and practices. The candidate will most likely have a background working in a large commercial law firm.
