ABOUT THE ROLE
Initially, this would start off as a 14-month fixed term contract. As the Senior Underwriter, you will manage local, national and offshore accounts. Some of the key activities will be actively planning, evaluating and organizing Risk Engineering audits, improvements and recommendations. You will be one of the key decision makers in deciding the level of retention, rating and premium calculation and policy terms.
DUTIES

• Underwrite renewal and new local & offshore business
• Credit control/Premium collections
• Peer review/Staff supervision
• Management of Bond Business (through an agency)

• Ability to work across multiple types of insurance
• Understand different client businesses & cultures
• Flexible approach to incorporate additional duties
• Creative, inquisitive and resilient nature
