The Role
Recruiting for an exciting new position as a Pricing Specialist for the Coles Insurance Home and Motor portfolios, based with our team in Pyrmont, reporting directly to the Pricing Manager. The Pricing Specialist is responsible for assisting the team to deliver best in class pricing capability for the Satellite division. The role will involve building pricing models and integrating the models into the rating structure which goes live to market and monitoring their effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement a pricing framework in the Coles Insurance portfolios
- Identifying opportunities for pricing improvement
- Continually improve pricing models and identify where models are strong and weak
- Work with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring pricing models and processes adhere to risk standards
Skills & Experience
- Strong technical and analytical skills in pricing. Including GLM, GBM modelling experience
- Confidently present technical information to a broad audience
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Qualified actuary or 1-2 exams away from qualification
- 3+ years insurance pricing experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel
- Experience with SAS, SQL or equivalent
