We have an outstanding opportunity to join a leading insurance brokerage where you can continue to build your impressive insurance career.
This is a business that is continuing to grow and you will love coming to work each and every day. This role will involve assisting a Senior Underwriter where you will be well trained to ensure you are the best at what you do!
Ideally you will have some form of Underwriting experience however, our client is also open to someone with experience as an Assistant Account Executive or similar who would like to move into Underwriting.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to Senior Underwriter
- Processing new business and renewals
- Processing endorsements
- Assist with quotes
- Database maintenance
- Liaise with internal staff eg claims, etc
- Ad hoc administrative tasks
As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following skills/attributes:
- Proven experience working within Insurance – preferably experience as an Underwriter but open for eg Assistant Broker
- Tier 1 qualified (Insurance Broking) advantageous
- Strong time management skills
- Can-do attitude
- Self-motivated and a team player
