This is a great opportunity to work with a well-respected and highly reputable organisation within the General Insurance & Broking industry. Insurance Aid General Brokers has a fantastic reputation with clients, employees and underwriters alike and is very well respected amongst its peers.

 

We have 2 offices, Murarrie and Ashmore and various Authorised Representative around Queensland. We have a Reception position available at our Murarrie office, that is currently being purpose built & custom fit out and will be ready to move in shortly.

The Role

You will be responsible for providing reception and administrative support to a team of Insurance Brokers & Claims Executives.

Responsibilities include;

  • Front office reception, answering phones & greeting clients
  • Franking of letters & emailing correspondence
  • Following up & requesting documents
  • Claims assistance & data processing
  • Organising quotes and funding contracts
  • Collection of dishes and tidying of kitchen
  • Running errands for the office (bank, post office, groceries)
  • Ordering stationary
  • Liaising with underwriters to request documents for our Strata department

 

The Person

Applicants would ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within an office environment.

You will also have:

  • Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle (public transport not available)
  • A friendly and professional manner
  • Confident and cheery phone manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to use your initiative and prioritise tasks
  • Ability to be flexible and work effectively within a team and individually with minimal supervision

Fulltime role with hours being Monday to Friday from 8.30am – 5.00pm


Start date:  Start date end of July – beginning of August.
