THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Case Manager/Senior Case Manager to join our Insurance for NSW Team. You will be able to make a real difference to people’s lives, managing one of our key Police & Emergency services portfolios on a permanent basis in the Gosford area.
ABOUT YOU
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders such as workers, treating doctors and employers
- Accurately update and maintain the claims management system
- Develop and issue Injury Management Plan through proactive phone contact with all stakeholders
- Assist employers and workers in the return to work process
- Proactively manage rehabilitation providers
- Work in accordance with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Prior worker’s compensation experience or case management experience
- Health/Science/Sports degree (preferred not required)
- 1-2 years’ experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting or workers compensation experience
- Excellent customer service skills and focus on the client
- Passion for helping other
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and efficient in managing your time
- Attention to detail
- Excellent negotiating and influencing skills
- Ability to adapt to stress and adversity
