THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Case Manager/Senior Case Manager to join our Insurance for NSW Team. You will be able to make a real difference to people’s lives, managing one of our key Police & Emergency services portfolios on a permanent basis in the Gosford area. 

ABOUT YOU

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders such as workers, treating doctors and employers
  • Accurately update and maintain the claims management system
  • Develop and issue Injury Management Plan through proactive phone contact with all stakeholders
  • Assist employers and workers in the return to work process
  • Proactively manage rehabilitation providers
  • Work in accordance with relevant legislation and internal policies and procedures

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Prior worker’s compensation experience or case management experience
  • Health/Science/Sports degree (preferred not required)
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting or workers compensation experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and focus on the client
  • Passion for helping other
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and efficient in managing your time
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent negotiating and influencing skills
  • Ability to adapt to stress and adversity
