Perrymans have successfully practised in General Insurance for more than 40 years, concentrating in the Professional & Financial Risks, Commercial and Corporate sectors located in modern premises in Norwood.

 

About the role

Due to continued growth we seek the services of an experienced and dedicated full time account broker or broker assistant (dependent on experience) who is committed to exceptional service.

Core duties include:

  • Determine, liaise with and review insurance markets
  • Prepare formal quotation / documentation for clients
  • Process on broking system
  • Prepare documentation for forwarding to clients
  • Record and follow up receipt of proposals and any other documentation
  • Debtor management

Skills and experience

The preferred candidate will have a sound understanding of insurance principles and preferably had exposure to Business, Liability, Property, Commercial Motor, Domestic and other related products.  

In addition the candidate will have:-

  • 3 years experience in the insurance industry
  • Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • RG146 qualification / Tier 1 broking certificate
  • Experience with WinBeat and Sunrise would also be an advantage.
