This is your opportunity to join our Hacienda Sydney team. Hacienda Sydney sits above it all with one of the most iconic views of the Harbour Bridge. Hacienda Sydney is a vista bar inspired by the grand plantation architecture of Cuba, mixed with the lux yet playful modern vintage hotels of 1950's Miami. Rum inspired cocktails draw locals and visitors from afar on a regular basis, and the Cuban inspired food is designed to share. As a key member of our team, you will represent our service philosophy with your professional and friendly manner. 

About the role:
An opportunity exists for a well rounded Bar professional to bring their skills and experience to Hacienda Sydney and join the team in the capacity of Bar Attendant.
 
Reporting to the Venue Manager you will be responsible for:

• The efficient operation and high quality service of Hacienda Sydney's bar outlet.
• Responsible for the service of beverages, in particular Hacienda's extensive cocktail list.
• Maintaining product knowledge and maximising bar sales.
• Bringing Hacienda Sydney to life.
• Engaging with our guests, and assessing guest needs and preferences and making appropriate recommendations
• Ensuring all service areas and equipment are kept clean and organized.
• Keeping the bar organized, stocked and clean at all times.
• Having knowledge of and operating within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
• Relevant experience behind a busy bar for a minimum of 1 year.
• Current knowledge of cocktails and the art of mixology.
• Knowledge of both local & imported beer & wine.
• Contemporary & classic cocktail knowledge.
• The ability to effectively shift and manage priorities as per the business demands.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, whilst being guest orientated and service minded. 
• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
• Flexibility to work across a 7 day rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
• Unlimited work rights in Australia.
