My client is currently looking for a very strong Cafe Manager to lead a high quality front of house team in a unique space. They have other venues and are always interested to meet 'up and coming' talent.
The venue holds around 100 at capacity and serves fresh, produce driven food which is both delicious and simple with a strong emphasis on weekend breakfasts and lunches. The venue currently operates seven days a week so this role is shared between two people.
We are looking for someone who wants to create a career in the industry rather that just a job.
The Role
The successful candidate will be required to;
Work in a fast paced environment with good staffing levels;
Manage the flow of bookings and walk-ins over a large dining space;
Work closely with the Head Chef around menus and delivery;
Cultivate customers to enjoy the produce driven menu;
Grow with the position and advance your career.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate;
Excellent leadership skills and an ability to train junior staff;
Experience in rostering and managing wage budgets;
Enthusiasm for and knowledge of the industry;
An ability to work well under pressure;
Excellent communication skills;
A positive, hands on, 'can do' attitude;
Exceptional leadership skills.
