Front of House Guest Services – Perm. Part Time/ Casual - Boutique Accommodation
An exciting opportunity exists to join a small team amongst one of Sydney’s most unique hospitality concepts.
Set to launch in Aug 2018, The Baxley Bondi is a conceptual boutique guest house whitewashed with tropical plantation hues and stylish facilities for all its lucky guests. With an accessible portfolio of accommodation styles, we offer a fresh, friendly and minimalist accommodation experience located in central Bondi.
In growing our operational team, we pride ourselves on establishing outstanding customer service to all our guests and maintaining a highly reputable brand. We are ready to become the best!
We are implementing automation technologies to make this business run efficiently for both the employee and customer which will be driven by a passionate, friendly and warm service team who are motivated to create something truly special.
We are looking for a bright, motivated and well-presented Front of House Receptionist to join our new business and be committed to our values on a permanent part time basis.
We too have a casual position available in further growing our team across a 7-day period.
Positions will commence early Aug 2018 to assist with setup prior to opening.
The Role (and expectations):
- Always have a presentable appearance and a positive attitude/approach towards business direction.
- Contribute amongst a driven team with the upmost respect for colleagues and the brand.
- Good understanding of sales and marketing within a customer service environment. Hotel and guest services experience an advantage but not essential.
- Pay attention to the fine details (e.g. processing bookings, data entry, calling electrician to replace light bulb etc.) and adhere to procedures correctly without taking shortcuts.
- Proficient with technology such as computers and excel. Graphic design abilities will be highly regarded.
- Have great communication skills and the ability to compose precise and professional emails.
- Maintain a clean living and work space.
- Bring ideas and initiative to the table.
- Maintain exceptional service standards to truly make our guests experience with us memorable.
- Ensure the seamless execution of all operational duties.
- Self-motivated.
- Fair availability throughout a 7-day working week, and available to work across weekends where required.
- A positive 'can-do' attitude with the willingness to learn and work in all areas of the business, as required.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and time-management skills.
- Value placed on punctuality and reliable attendance.
