Rare BDE opportunity for a fantastic and well respected touring company! Do you have sound Business Development experience within the travel industry and a proven sales record? This leading tour company are looking for an experienced Business Development Sales Executive to assist with their ongoing expansion across the travel market based in NSW but also covering the ACT. Excellent benefits and the chance to work for a highly respected travel wholesaler with this position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

*Maintain a high level of knowledge of the company products, services and activities
*Develop a network of retail travel agents using the territories assigned and developing these agents to support our product
*Promote and increase awareness of tour products to retail travel agents
*Conduct seminars, promotional activities and consumer information nights to increase product knowledge
*Attend travel industry functions/trade shows as required and at all times represent the company in a highly professional manner
*Conducting brochure launches in various locations across the state
*Increasing sales and market share for the company in the allocated regions
*Provide a contact point/act as liaison between travel agents and head office
*Escort educationals as required.
*Targets, budgets and reporting

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

*Previous experience (minimum 1 year) as a Sales representative in wholesale travel
*Proven problem solving ability
*High customer service skills
*High level of Microsoft office skill set
*High level of written and oral presentation and communication skills
*Proven ability to work as a team player
*Proven record in driving sales figures and meeting targets
*Outgoing, bubbly personality
