Hanrob Pet Hotels (www.hanrob.com.au) one of Australia's professional pet services organisation in pet accommodation, dog training and doggy daycare, is searching for a talented, energetic manager and leader to drive high performing results across our three Sydney Pet Hotels.
Working in a highly competitive and growing segment the right candidate will have passion and a need to succeed.
We are searching for an experienced Operations Manager with the following key attributes:
- Proven ability and experience as a hands on manager in fast pace environment
- Motivated by autonomous brief with full responsibility for creating and managing successful budgets/P&L
- The ability to focus on Key Performance Indicators and business goals
- Is strong enough to be held accountable for agreed targets
- A genuine affection for cats and dogs
You will be responsible for developing operational plans, support business partnerships, leading a passionate team to create great customer (owners and pets) experiences as well as managing budgets and driving quality hygiene and pet welfare standards. You're able to work autonomously drawing on your business experience to provide expansion recommendations. Your fresh and enthusiastic approach positions you well for this customer-focused business.
This role coaches, guides and develops the Customer Service, Pet Welfare, Transport, Dog Training and Maintenance teams.
To be a high performing Operations Manager with Hanrob Pet Hotels, you will not only be a successful business leader with at least 10 years experience in business operations and management, you will:

- Get huge personal satisfaction when you help others to be successful
- Be known for quickly finding errors in data sets (spreadsheets, P&Ls, Budgets etc)
- Respond appropriately to demands on your time
- Be highly motivated by authoritative roles with responsibility to drive outcomes
- Make objective, intuitive and timely decisions
- Investigate and probe for better practices to enhance operational efficiency and quality outcomes
People management experience, courageous leadership and business execution are most important to us. This rewarding and diverse position is a key role within the Hanrob Pet Hotels group.
The role will be based at our Heathcote Pet Hotel with regular site visits to Sydney Airport and Duffy’s Forest Pet Hotels.
