About the Role

Stamford Plaza, one of Brisbane's finest five star hotels, is currently looking for a talented, dedicated and experienced Chef de Partie to join our exceptional Kitchen Brigade. This role would suit a someone with experience in Cold Larder and Banquet operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing mise-en-place for your designated work station to ensure the smooth running of service
  • Prepare all food items in accordance with standard recipes
  • Check food rotation to ensure freshness of all food products
  • Adhering to the Hotel policies and procedures
  • Meet all health and hygiene requirements and cleanliness
  • Ensuring a seamless Guest experience through prompt and efficient food service

Skills and Experience

  • An Australian recognised Trade or relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery
  • Previous experience of at least one year in a similar role
  • The ability to work in a fast paced kitchen
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work on rotating shifts across 7 days
  • A proactive approach to system improvements
  • Knowledge of HACCP and relevant food safety accreditation
