Basil's Fine Foods is a boutique gourmet food specialist retailer located north of the river in Mindarie, providing a unique shopping experience for our customers. We seek a Baker/Cook that is passionate about food.
We are looking for a well presented and dynamic team member that has a flair for visual presentation and a passion for customer service. Applicants will be required to prepare par baked products, bake muffins, quiches and pies, order and attend to cake display cabinet duties. A passion for baking would be desirable to meet changing customer needs.
Completion of a Barista's course will be highly regarded, as this will enable you to cross over into other departments.
Previous experience is necessary. The successful applicant should possess the following attributes;

·Be consistently punctual & reliable
·Prepared to work in a team environment and be a team leader
·Able to work creatively & efficiently in a fast and changing environment
·Have a reliable form of transportation
Our open hours are 7am to 8pm, 7 days a week. You will be required to work 5 shifts per week inclusive of one weekend shift. Staff must possess a sound knowledge of all aspects of food safety and hygiene.
