Axil Coffee Roasters is a coffee roastery and café which was established in 2011 in Hawthorn. We have a further café in Chadstone Shopping Centre and three locations in the CBD.
We are now on the hunt for an experienced Café Manager for our Chadstone Shopping Centre location for an immediate start.
Applicants must have previous experience in a management role in hospitality, knowledge of specialty coffee and a big passion for good food. Support, training and career progression is available for right candidate.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Hiring, Training and Managing waiting staff
- Greeting guests and taking orders when required
- Assessing customer satisfaction
- Managing stock levels and ordering stock
- Rostering
- Assisting with budgeting
- Ensuring café remains clean and compliant with regulations
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Relevant Qualifications and/or at least 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Have great communication, training and team building skills
- Maintain and continue to build a customer base with excellent customer service
- Take ownership of their position and eye for detail
- Cash handling skills
- Appreciation for great food and exceptional coffee
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
