This South American wholesale specialist company is looking for the next adventure loving travel professional to join their team. You'll be playing a vital role in the success of the team providing the sales and reservations consultants with support in their roles.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Provide support to the sales consultants
- Liaise with clients, airlines, other agents/operators and local South American operators in the absence of the sales consultants, and follow up any enquires
- Liaise with sales consultants in relation to any quote or booking
- Update and maintain the tour plan quoting system accordingly
- Assist in maintaining travel-related records on the computer system
- Answer incoming calls for the sales consultants on their allocated phone day.
- Basic receptionist duties: Welcome clients and prospective clients, answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member (When required).

EXPERIENCE

- 12+ months travel industry experience
- Strong eye for detail is a must
- a passion & knowledge of and travel experience in South America (Arctic and Antarctic knowledge and experience would be desirable)
- GDS knowledge and experience
