About the business and the role

Stock Exchange Hotel is a two story, 5 bar - mega venue sitting in the social hub of Brisbane City. From a local's hangout downstairs to a rooftop nightclub upstairs, this venue offers a multitude of different demographics, challenges and perks.

As an Assistant or Duty Manager, you will be in charge of the daily operations and report directly to the General Manager.

You will be exposed to all aspects of the business and be involved in the ever evolving face of Brisbane Hospitality.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Hands-on approach to running day to day operations
Responsible for customer experiences on all levels
Assist in leading a team of up to 40 empolyees
Setting up, managing and packing down functions and events
Directing and coordinating security
Controlling stock movements
Assisting the GM in all delegated tasks

Skills and experience

Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume venue
Minimum 5 years in a similar role
Strong Licensing and Compliance understanding
Excellent customer engagement
Gaming experience (TAB necessary)
BOH and admin understanding
Full-time availability on a rotating 7 day roster including weekends and nights
A desire to expand your operational knoweldge to progress in your career
