PIGGYBACK CAFE and THE BLOOM ROOM CAFE are seeking a super talented COMMIS CHEFS to join a dynamic team across our Jindalee and Birkdale-based cafes. Full-time chef positions available. 1 x each location.
In order to meet our high expectations the successful applicant must show initiative, drive and be incredibly passionate about the food industry, along with a minimum of TWO years experience in a similar role.
Piggyback cafe is BUSY and FAST PACED and the Bloom room is soon to open early August. The successful applicant will have to be able to produce well presented, executed dishes under pressure.
You will:
- Work within a small but dynamic team.
- Prepare produce for breakfast/lunch service, plus some nights per week and occasional functions.
- Ability to work unsupervised as required.
- Work to and implement OH&S standards.
- Be fun and approachable to work with in a team environment.
- Understand the importance of organisation and professionalism to get tasks completed on time and in budget.
