The Role
As a Sous Chef you will possess genuine excitement and passion for the industry and the desire to build a career with an internationally recognised hospitality group. Located on Level 55 of Melbourne's iconic Rialto, our hatted venue, Vue de monde provides an experience incomparable to any other. Showcasing wonderful Australian fair Vue de monde caters to discerning guests both locally and internationally.
  
The Company
As part of the Vue Group, Vue de monde is our iconic premier restaurant.  Our other favourite venues include Vue Events, Lui Bar, Jardin Tan, Piggery Cafe, Cafe Vue, Burnham Bakery, Iki-jime & Benny Burger.
  
What you will need
  • Proven experience of  similar level of culinary excellence
  • Previous or current Chefs Hat or Michelin star venue experience
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Possess a strong work ethic
  • The natural ability to manage a team, including the recruitment, development and day-to-day management of our people
  • Proven people management experience
  • Excellent food knowledge
  • A desire to perform at the highest level
