About the role:

HillView Care are seeking a Trade Certificate and HACCP Food Safety Programme qualified Chef with Aged Care / High Volume Commercial cooking experience for a 6 month temporary contract with the possibility of extension. This opportunity is based at our Ashmore facility, working Full-Time hours Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• An in-depth knowledge of the dietary requirements of the frail and/or aged
• Exceptional customer service skills
• The ability to provide direction to junior staff and work as a positive and co-operative member of a large team
• The ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate a willingness to follow the directives of the Catering Manager
• The ability to consistently produce appetising and nutritious meals
• Actively participate in quality improvement activities and a willingness to collaborate with Management in relation to quality improvement activities
• A positive and helpful attitude
• Punctuality and reliability
• Own reliable transport
• Able to provide 2 work related referees
• Have exceptional time management skills
• Has a current Federal Police Check, or willing to get one
