The brainchild of the team behind XO, we are looking to build a team that is interested in contributing to a new perspective on breakfast and lunch dining in Canberra, is up for a challenge and shares our approach to unpretentious, exceptional service.
About the position:
As wait or bar staff you will be core to delivering on our mission. You will be directly mentored by our front of house manager who brings over a decade of experience and a unique eye for sequence of service. You will contribute directly to the development and execution of our service and have the opportunity to diversify your skill set across the whole spectrum of managing a very successful front of house, whilst leveraging the learnings, systems and support of XO to hit the road running from an operational perspective.
What we are looking for:
You will have worked in kitchens or hospitality before. You know the industry and what is expected of you. We are a bit different, and look for a mix of skills and experience as well as personality and passion.
You will have:
- Experience in hospitality;
- Excellent customer service skills; and
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
What you will need:
- A high level of hygiene standards and personal presentation;
- A genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry;
- The ability to follow instructions;
- A willingness to mentored, supervised and trained for further career development;
- A readiness to contribute to the team and shape a healthy working environment; and
- The ability to work co-operatively and productively in a high-pressure environment.
