Are you a Professional Spa Manager seeking an opportunity to live and work in a beautiful yet busy location in Australia?

Escarpment Group is offering a unique opportunity for qualified and experienced Spa Manager to work at its iconic properties in the Blue Mountains, only 90 minutes away from Sydney CBD.

Key responsibilities:

• Ability to design and deliver outstanding spa treatment therapies and related services
• Ability to lead, motivate and nurture the spa team in achieving predetermined goals and incentives
• Source, recruit, retain and develop therapists
• Build and develop working relationships with other hotel Department Heads, current suppliers and various contacts with the Spa industry
• Able to take full responsibility of Escarpment Group Day Spa operations at Lilianfels, Echoes and Parklands
• Need to have proven ability to lead a team with hands on approach
• Possess excellent communication skills and an ability to manage a budget to ensure department achieves both its financial and operational goals
• Develop promotional and up selling activities to assist in achieving revenue targets

Ideally you will require the following qualifications and attributes:

• Have a minimum qualification of a Certificate IV in Beauty or Massage Therapy
• Have at least 2 years previous experience in a similar role
• Be passionate about delivering exceptional beauty & massage experiences
• Be computer literate with knowledge of Opera & SpaSoft experience essential.
• Have excellent customer service and grooming standards
• Have ability to up-sell products and services
• Have impeccable presentation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have ability to multi task in a fast paced environment and able to work under pressure.
• Possess excellent organisational and time management skills.

The position will suit a Spa Manager/Professional with exceptional communication and customer care skills with at least two years management experience in the Spa industry, preferably in five star hotels. A therapies background will be considered favourably.

This full time is based on a flexible 38 hour week and which will include a rotating weekend shift. Additional hours may be required as the business requires.
