You will be required to undertake the following tasks:

The main things that you would be doing include:

• examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
• regulating temperatures ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
• preparing and cooking food
• seasoning food during the cooking process
• portioning food, plating it, and adding gravy sauces and garnishes
• storing food in temperature controlled facilities
• preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
• may train other kitchen staff and apprentices
• Menu planning

• Able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Experience in a similar role
• Creative, and passionate about food and providing high standards of food service
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure

About the company

We are a busy country hotel/motel in Central West NSW

We have a 20 room motel and an 80 seat dining room.
