Regional Express (Rex) is Australia’s largest independent regional airline operating a fleet of more than 50 Saab 340 aircraft on some 1,500 weekly flights to 60 destinations throughout New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia.
A position is vacant for an energetic, organised and flexible person to join Regional Express as a Receptionist at our Sydney Head Office in Mascot.
This is a full time position– office hours 8.30 am - 5.00 pm.
Position Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming calls politely, efficiently and appropriately
- Meet and greet all visitors to head office in a professional and friendly manner
- Organise meetings, manage meeting room bookings and use of equipment
- Provide office secretarial and administration support as required, including travel and accommodation bookings
- Responsible for the ordering and upkeep of all office supplies.
- Maintenance and presentation of reception, meeting rooms and kitchen area/s
- Mail collection from the post office and distribution
- Mail collection from the Internal sources and distribution
- Cash handling and banking (as required)
- Transporting managerial employees throughout Sydney
- Catering bookings and meeting room set up/clean up as required
- Assisting with Flight Attendant Recruitment (as required)
Selection Criteria
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to operate a small phone switch
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong customer focus
- High standard of personal presentation
