Role
Fast paced environment, this is a challenging role however it comes with rewards. You might not have the years of experience but a true desire to learn and grow is highly regarded. You will be working with a team from 8-10 chefs. Able to rotate throw different sections and reliably carry out orders handed down by the sous chef and the head chef. Have an attention to trouble-shooting problems that might arise will be a good attribute.
What is required
Being a busy venue you will need to be experienced in a volume kitchen:
- Have to have strong experience on most sections.
- Professional attitude to work in a close team and approach to the position.
- Flexible availability- seven day rotating roster and still liveable.
- Excellent attention to detail delivering the best service and quality food
- Able to oversee junior and apprenticed chefs.
- Knowledge of the kitchen operation, focus and organisation.
