Taking its name from the sun, Soleil Pool Bar wraps around the Rydges South Bank Brisbane pool and peeps over Grey Street. The venue offers warm and inviting spaces to linger as DJs and acoustic acts create a fun and carefree atmosphere.
Soleil offers divine food offerings from morning through to night. Perhaps best known for its refreshing line-up of signature cocktails crafted by the gifted bar team, Soleil also has an extensive range of punches to share, international and Australian wines, and tap or bottled beer.
The role
Soleil is seeking the expertise of a full time Bar Manager to oversee operations and professionally manage the bar and its people. Your role will be to enhance venue performance, achieve business goals, meet financial targets and ensure a high level of service standards, while leading and inspiring a team of professional bar staff.
You will bring with you proven bar operations and management experience, a commitment to exceptional guest service, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the desire to innovate and excel in everything you do.
You will have:
- Exceptional skills and a high level of knowledge in bar, beverage and floor service
- Management experience
- Experience in hotels (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines and spirits
- Experience in executing large functions and events
- The ability to lead, motivate and inspire staff
- An understanding of Soleil's market position and key clientele
- Knowledge of MICROS systems
- Experience with rosters, forecasts, budgeting and reporting
- Experience in training and developing staff and managing performance
- Immaculate presentation, style and charisma
- 24/7 availability and own transport
- Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification.
