ThriftyCar Rentals is seeking a Rental Services Officer to join the team in our Port Macquarie locationss. The position will be on a rotating roster which includes working weekends. Car rental experience is preferred; however any applicant with a strong customer service and/or retail sales background should apply.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Servicing the vehicle rental requirements of our extensive customer base
- Taking bookings and dealing with customers via the phone and at the counter
- Some vehicle detailing and checking of vehicles prior to and on return of rental
- Maintaining a high level of customer service
Essential Experience Required:
- Open, manual drivers licence and own transport
- Ability to learn and operate our point of sale software
- Well presented with strong customer service background
- Attention to detail in presentation of vehicles
- Ability to work unsupervised with a good sense of responsibility
- Ability to multi task and highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experienced in dealing with customer issues and conflict resolution
