We are seeking to appoint a full-time Cellar Person to be responsible for completing the Club's general cellar operations. This role is responsible for the daily back of house duties and overall running of the cellar, including the supervision of cellar staff. A key element of the role is the security, usage and monitoring of stock, ensuring stock is rotated and maintained to appropriate levels. 

Duties include but not limited to:

  • POS Management
  • Liaise and build a rapport with suppliers
  • Reporting to senior management
  • Internal customer service with operations of the business
  • Check stock levels and ordering as required in consultation with Stock & Stores Supervisor
  • Stocking of beverages in cool rooms, storerooms and fridges
  • Receiving deliveries and ensuring integrity
  • Stock rotation
  • Ensuring meat trays are transferred for raffles
  • Beer line maintenance and cleaning
  • Maintenance of all equipment per cellar schedule
  • Completing all paperwork correctly
  • Ensuring security of stock
  • Monthly stocktake
  • Assist with Functions set up
  • General cellar and cleaning duties including rubbish bins
  • Being on call at all times when on site 

The successful applicant will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in cellar operations
  • Outstanding attention to detail and time management skills
  • Display professional quality and work standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & oral
  • A knowledge of Bar operations and GP
  • Physically fit and well presented
  • Strict compliance with all safety and manual handling procedures
  • Knowledge of WHS standards
  • Ability to work a flexible roster
  • RSA certificate
