Samarinda Ashburton Aged Services (SAAS) is a long established provider of integrated residential and community care support services. Our vision is that every older local remains connected, engaged and valued in our community. We have recently expanded from 62 to 90 beds including a 15 bed memory support/dementia.
We are searching for several CASUAL Food Service Assistants to replace scheduled leave and sick leave across the week, Monday to Sunday, there are a variety of morning and afternoon/evening shifts.
We have a dedicated team of staff who are passionate about providing a high standard of hospitality and service to make our residents feel like they are at 'home'. This role is more than just serving food and cleaning up it's about engaging with our residents and making them feel important.
The role is responsible for:
- Serving and clearing meals
- Assisting with meal preparation
- Dishwashing, cleaning and hospitality related tasks.
If you possess the following then don't hesitate to apply:
- Completion of HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate
- 1+ years food service within an aged care facility/Hospital
- Ability to work in a team to provide a high standard of hospitality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and works well in a team
- A passion for working with the aged
