The Good Times Pub Group, Queensland's fastest growing Hotel Group, is now seeking applications for experienced Chef/ Cook to work at Burnside Tavern, located in the northern Gold Coast area.
This position requires the flexibility and availability to work weekends, week days and nights, and public holidays, approximately 20-30 hours per week.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Food preparation and presentation
- Ensuring expectations of service are consistently met
- Catering for functions such as parties for up to 100 people
- Ensuring menus, food standards, procedures and processes are followed
- Maintaining a clean, compliant and efficient kitchen
Essential Requirements include:
- Trade qualification or Food Safety Supervisor certification
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role - café, bistro, tavern or hotel
- Passion for cooking and presenting fantastic food
- Food stock control and ordering knowledge
- Excellent time management and communication skills
