Driver / Security Attaché Position
We require an immaculately groomed, well presented professional driver/ chauffeur for a private family based on the North Shore and then in years to come Eastern suburbs. Sydney.
Someone who is adaptable and flexible, who possesses a desire and willingness to run errands, assist with ad hoc requests coupled with patience and understanding for different cultures and nationalities. This position is for someone who can see a future working for a private family, to grow within the position long term and to take on the responsibility of an ambassador for a family.
The disposition and personality traits we are seeking all envelope, confidentiality, honesty, integrity, trustworthiness, attention to detail, a genuine drive to be of service, amicable and someone with a sense of humour who can add value and complement the existing team of people.
General light maintenance is required of vehicles, such as washing and vacuuming as well as keeping a log of receipts for parking and refuelling etc as well as adhering to procedures and protocol measures set in place. Knowledge of North Shore, Eastern suburbs and CBD areas would be advantageous.
Pre-requisites
To be in the possession of a:
- Current police check
- Working with Children check
- Current first aid certificate required
- Must have the right to work in Australia
- Possess a gold licence with proof of a clean driving record
- Applicants must have two verbal and two separate written references
Preferred but not essential:
- Previous experience of working closely with a private family
- Previous Hotel concierge or chauffer experience
- Security attaché experience
- Fluency in spoken Mandarin an advantage
- Defensive driving course certification
- Chauffeur experience driving high, prestige vehicle
This is a full-time position with projected working hours 8 hours per day over 5 days per week on rotational block of days (Mon-Fri) or (Tue-Sat). Start times ranging from 11am to 1pm with some possible weekend work. Wages negotiable based on experience and the right person for the job.
