Head Chef - South Brisbane - Immediate Start - $70K + Super

This is an exciting role within a newly renovated Venue. We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate HEAD CHEF to lead this small and dynamic team.

The successful applicant will display excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with both staff and patrons, as well as having a neat and tidy presentation.

The team work hard to ensure a warm and comfortable atmosphere for both staff and patrons. An eye for detail, and an attitude to commit to maintaining the Culture and Integrity of each dish served. Team Culture is very important, this role is ideal for an upbeat, reliable, motivated and hands on leader, that can delegate but also train, and lead from the front. Someone who displays a real passion for food and what they do, but is also seeking longevity in their next role. Split-shifts will be involved so flexibility is a must.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in a Head Chef role in the past (minimum 3 years experience)
• Experience working in fast paced and high volume venues
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Passion for your profession
• Immaculate self presentation
• A creative flair is essential
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to follow and give direction when required
• Advanced time management skills to ensure you efficiently manage priorities
• Someone who understands the Hospitality Industry and the hours/rosters that come with the role
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail & focus is essential
• Someone who is wanting longevity in a role
• A genuine passion for the Industry
• Creativity that reflects in the presentation in the dishes
• Oversee and supervise all kitchen staff
• Ensure staff are following OH&S requirements at all times
