The Barreau Hotel Group is currently seeking an experience casual Bistro Supervisor for the Excelsior Hotel.                            

Situated in trendy Brompton the  Excelsior Hotel offers a family friendly atmosphere with a busy Bistro & Bar, Alfresco dining area & 33 machine Jackpot Gaming room.

Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of a  busy Bistro operation

Successful applicants must be able to work on a flexible 7 day roster including days, nights, split shifts,weekends & Public holidays.

Ideally the applicants must have:

• Previous  experience in a similar role within a high volume bistro operation.
•  A strong knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Great Barista skills with the ability to train other staff
• The ability to attract, arrange and co-ordinate functions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with other department heads.
• Current RSA certificate
• Superior customer service skills with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.
•  Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor staff with the aim of build a strong Bistro team
• A 'hands-on' approach with a "lead by example" attitude
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent personal presentation and grooming standards
• Experience in computerised POS. ( H&L
• Strong problem solving & resolution skills.
• Accurate cash management skills.
• preferred)
