About the role
As a Chef de Partie, you will utilise your creative flair and passion for food to help in Sydney’s newest leading restaurant, which exceeds diner’s expectations. You will help lead a highly motivated team and assist with fine tuning our unique food concept.
Duties/responsibilities
- Run a section of the Kitchen during service
- Ensure the consistent delivery of quality, well presented dining experiences to our guests
- Motivate our highly passionate brigade
- Coach team members to excel in their culinary field
- Ensure all food production is compliant with food standards
- Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that include:
- Passion for cooking and showcasing local produce
- A minimum of 2 years demonstrated previous experience in a similar role
- A current, valid, and relevant trade commercial cookery qualification
- Exceptional management skills
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Exceptional knowledge of Australian produce
- Ability to work under pressure
