The Great Southern Hotel Brisbane is a 4 Star hotel located in the heart of Brisbane CBD. We are currently seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team.

The Housekeeping Supervisor (Casual) is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire hotel including guest rooms and all public areas.

We are looking for someone who is dedicated to developing their skills and knowledge and can demonstrate exceptional service standards.

The Successful candidate will:

• Need a minimum of 1 years experience, preferably in a 3 to 5 star hotel or above with a proven track record of leadership in the role as a Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Have the ability to direct and motivate the housekeeping team
• Have a friendly and welcoming manner with a desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Computer Literacy in OPERA or another Hotel Operating System, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Have an outstanding "Can do Attitude"
• Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Have experience inspecting rooms to a high standard with exceptional attention to detail.
• Have the ability to co-operate with all departments ensuring the smooth operation of check in times are adhered to where possible.
• Be flexible and available for work across a 7 day roster.
• Have a good understanding of occupational Health and Safety procedures
• Have the ability to conduct training and re-training of new and existing staff
• Have the ability to multi task and work under pressure

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR IS ESSENTIAL!
