1932 is a new café restaurant located in the Manchester Unity Building arcade in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. With all things new, we are looking to create a core team of people who value excellence, efficiency, quality coffee and food that is delivered with outstanding customer service.

You will work in a brand new, open plan, well equipped restaurant designed in keeping with the history and Art Deco design of the Manchester Unity Building

The successful candidate:

We are searching for the cream of the crop, the best of the best.

An experienced barista and all-rounder who is passionate about serving coffee that customers will rave on about for days and keep them coming back for more. A barista who operates a coffee machine with expertise and willing to teach and train other staff members. The successful candidate must be willing to perform other duties and be enthusiastic, reliable, passionate, self-motivated with a fun personality. If you are a quick thinker with great attention to detail and work well under pressure in a close-knit, vibrant team environment, we'd love to hear from you.

This position will include some front of house duties and will have supervisory responsibilities within the team.

Desired but not essential:

• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate (RSA) or willing to obtain
• Coffee making and latte art
• Food Handling certificate
• Experience using POS system
