The Garden Cafe @ Wenona Girls School is seeking a talented Chef or Experienced Cook to join our cafe team. Our cafe caters to the faculty and student body delivering innovative and nutritious items on a daily basis.
DEPARTMENTS OBJECTIVES
To produce nutritious well-balanced seasonal menus that meet the requirements of our customers. To develop a multi skilled team in the delivery of delicious and interesting canteen offerings, whilst supporting the NSW Healthy school’s initiative.
Essential Skills
- Strong and positive communication skills
- Staff management skills
- Outstanding time management
- Creative recipe development
- Bulk/high yield cooking experience
Key Accountabilities
- Training and management of staff
- Financial performance of the unit
- Opening and closing of the business
- Presentation of the café to customer
- Compliance with regulatory legislation
