Location – Sydney Adventist Hospital
The Sydney Adventist Hospital situated in Sydney’s north at Wahroonga, is seeking a dynamic and flexible casual Chef to work a variety of shifts between Monday and Friday within our Food Services Department.
This is a rare opportunity to join a professional and dedicated team, focused on customer satisfaction, and high quality service.
This role will see you assist in the production of approximately 1500 plus, primarily vegetarian fresh cooked meals daily to patients and servicing our San Cafe with meals to visitors and staff.
Essential criteria:
- Commercial Cookery Trade Certificate or equivalent
- At least 2 years post trade cooking experience preferably in a bulk fresh food production unit or large food service environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and training in Food Safety
- Excellent communication skills, be adaptable, flexible & demonstrate excellent work standards.
Desirable:
- Experience working in health care, menu development, self-motivated.
