Cater Care are seeking a Casual Catering Assistant to work at an Aged Care Facility based in Caulfield North.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Basic food preparation, plating up and serving food to elderly residents
- Customer service, warm friendly interaction with elderly residents
- Setting up and clearing dining room and food trolleys
- Responsible for delivery of special diets and diet requirements including allergies/intolerances and supplements and texture modified soft & purees
- General cleaning of the kitchen and dining areas including washing dishes and stock control
- Compliance to food safety guidelines and food handling/preparation procedures
- Good customer service, strong communication skills
- Previous experience within Aged Care food service or working with vulnerable persons
- Self-motivated with a strong focus on customer care
- Food handling experience
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Successful candidates will have previous experience in a similar role working in Aged Care, Health or Hospitals, be well presented and self-motivated with a strong focus on customer care.
