As part of the Helloworld Travel Group, the AOT Group is one of Australia's leading wholesale, corporate and on-line travel distribution businesses offering a complete range of travel products and services for Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

We are looking for a new Groups & Cruise Coordinator (Domestic Groups Coordinator to join the dedicated and enthusiastic Groups & Cruise team. The main focus of this role will be to provide and support wholesalers and travel agents by providing them with competitive quotes and 'sellable' itineraries via our Domestic wholesale brands, Sunlover Holidays, Territory Discoveries and Qantas Holidays.

Daily, you will be responsible for the following:

• Providing suitable quotations and detailed itineraries to agents
• Rate requests and negotiations with suppliers
• Keeping abreast of special offers and PSP's
• Providing documentation for all Group bookings
• Ensuring accuracy for invoicing of bookings and handling applicable account queries
• Liaise with other AOT Group departments where applicable
• Ad hoc projects as designated by your Team Leader and Manager
• The flexibility to assist other team members in the groups department and other departments when required
• The availability to be on-call for groups travelling when required (weekends and public holidays included)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer Service Excellence to both internal and external clients
• High level Administration & computer literacy including experience in using Microsoft Programs and Tourplan
• Vast Australian destination knowledge
• The ability to multi task and the desire to work in a fast paced environment
• Good business acumen and strong problem solving ability
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and good presentation skills, in particular when travelling and representing the AOT Group to agents and suppliers on the road
• Ability to travel at times when required for large group or cruise ship movements
