We are currently seeking a talented and proven Barista to join our team within our client's busy onsite café based at Mount Waverley. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday offering a fast paced and dynamic role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Making and providing high level espresso based coffee to our clients staff
- Providing great customer service
- Assisting with the service delivery of client functions and events
- Assisting with service and coffee making in our corporate cafe
- Some food preparation from time to time
- Adherence to food hygiene and OH&S procedures
- Maintaining a strong relationship with the staff, clients and customers on site
- Completion of online training as required by Alliance Catering
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- To be available to work Monday to Friday
- Travel to our Mount Waverley location
- High levels of customer service and willingness to provide the customer with great service
- Previous experience in a high volume café environment
- Strong OH&S awareness
- Ability to work in a team environment and take instruction from a Manager
- Well presented
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar role working in a busy café environment. You will have ability to work unsupervised and able to communicate effectively with customers, clients and other team members. You will be a well presented and self-motivated individual who has excellent organisational & communication skills.
